Student Initiated Grants
Grant Application deadline: February 21, 2025.
Maximum grant request: $500.
Projects should provide educational, social, or cultural opportunities to youth who might otherwise not have those opportunities.
Below are the criteria for students submitting an application to the Ed Op Fund:
Applicant must be an LPCSD student from grades 4 to 12.
The project must be for the school, a segment of the school population, or for the greater community outside of the school.
Students must have a mentor or advisor for the proposed project.
Students must complete the application (below).
When a student has received grant funds they must launch the project by the end of the school year (although in some instances, a project may be designed for/extended into the summer) and must provide feedback on the completed project to the Ed Op Fund, including photos and written summary of the project and its impact.
Grant funds are limited. The EdOp Fund may not be funds to approve all grants. The more details a student can provide the more likely his/her grant will be approved. The EOF is especially interested in supporting grants that give evidence they will create educational, cultural, or social opportunities for the students of LPCS.
